Earth, High Orbit:
The Destiny Ascension hung in space, closely guarding the SSV Nightingale. Her captain, Matriarch Lidanya stood by the large viewing portal and watched the other ships arrayed close by. Dreadnaughts of several different designs all sat at station keeping, creating a wall around the diminutive Alliance hospital ship.
Two dreadnaughts from the Asari, Turian, Quarian and even the Batarian fleets had taken station within an hour of hearing that Commander Shepard was aboard and barely hanging on to life. It was a time honored show of respect and support from the spacefaring races in the galaxy. The SSV Beijing arrived and the SSV Houston had towed the SSV Normandy over near their little formation, also. Now ships from
She walked alone through the tall, wrought-iron gates as she had so many times before and into the lush, green reserve that bore the name Shepard's Park. The trees had grown so tall since the first time she came here. Back then they were just hastily planted saplings that only came up to her waist. Now they towered over her and shaded the people in the park from the hot afternoon sun. A light breeze stirred from the east and blew pleasantly in and around the trees rustling the leaves and branches. Liara couldn't help but smile as the cool breeze caressed her skin as she strolled towards the center of the sprawling park to the only building, the only construct on the three hundred acre lot.
Here and there people enjoyed the beautiful weather playing games, walking among the trees or having picnics as chirping birds looked down from the branches and dogs frolicked in the grass. Many took notice of her, bein
Jane and Liara: DaughterTitle: Jane and Liara: Daughter
Characters: Jane Shepard and Liara T'Soni
Time line: After reaper invasion

Jane was sitting in the meeting with the council. As usual they were vary of her. No one actually wants to face reminders of how stupid they had been and she was exactly that for them. Specially for the turian councilor.
Jane doubted that he would ever forget what Jane had said to him when reapers were attacking and they contacted her. Air quoting "Ah, yes the reapers!" had been too big temptation for her and she still made air quote motions when ever she saw the councilor.
"Is this information correct?" Asari councilor asks and lifts her eyes to Jane's.
"It's correct." Jane shrugs. No one knew from where she got her information and they would never find that out. She wished that the meeting would end so she could return to Liara in their home at Thessia. She regretted now that she'd let Liara talk her out o

Eden Prime, 17 years after the destruction of the Reapers:
Ambassador Liara T'Soni-Shepard returned home and started preparing some after-school snacks for her children without even changing out of the traditional pure white with gold trim dress she wore to official functions.
Liara was happy and occasionally caught herself staring out the sliding kitchen doors that opened to the huge porch that over looked the big back yard which ended at the shores of the crystal clear glacial lake. A lake named Lake Shepard, much to her husband's chagrin. On the other side of the lake snow-capped mountains towered over everything, reaching into the clear, azure sky. It was breath-taking.
Her lithe figure moved gracefully around the kitchen as she gathered items and mentally ticked off nutritional values. She loved it when she got home in time to do this, but her duties usually held her
Love Now, Before, and Now Again...Sarah sprinted out far beyond her team. The devastating, crimson beams lanced out from Harbinger searching for her, for the Shepard. Greedy and evil, wanting to end this duel. Thirsting to end this resistance here on earth now.
Mako tanks, gunships and Marines buckled, crashed and disintegrated in this maniacal rush to the Citadel beam. Though she dodged and danced around death, Sarah's only thoughts were with that pure soul behind her somewhere in this maelstrom of death.
Her heart wept with self-hatred and love. "How could I bring her here? HOW COULD I?" She screamed at herself feeling the self-hate auger into her heart. "She should be safe back on the Normandy!" Sarah knew Liara was still with her, running, dodging, being there for her as her true heart always had.
A gunship spun out of control, zipping by Shepard with only meters to spare. It crashed

The Planet Zorya:
Lieutenant Elena T'Soni shot through the cold night air over Zoryas' southern continent. The E-HALO (extreme high-altitude-low-opening) drop started on the very edge of space and brought her plummeting toward the ground at incredible speeds. Her commando leathers were so form fitting they never once fluttered in the intense slip stream or created any drag at all for the Asari Marine. Her HUD (heads-up display) told her she was slightly off track of glide path for the LZ (landing zone). She expertly tweaked her hands and feet and was soon on the proper course again. Now she tilted forward, her head straight down and formed herself into a living missile, she even pointed her toes in a nod to her ballet instructors from her youth.
She smiled in pure joy and exhilaration as she dove toward the waiting dark
Memories to Heal the Broken 2I apologize for the back and forth nature of this. I had no idea what I was getting into when doing a look back at ME1 from the end of ME3 through the exestential awesomeness of a meld.

Captain Reynolds, commanding officer of the SSV Nightingale, was having the worst day of his life. The war was over and that meant that for most of the Alliance the worst part was over. But for the medical professionals from every race in the galaxy that ran the forty seven hospital ships of Task Force Haven, the truly horrific work started now. Caring for the wounded, disfigured and dying was a thankless job that would continue for the next several decades.
He was ready for that, trained for it and planned on it. What he did not expect was the parade of VIPs trying to get access to his med-bays. Access to Shepard. He was even given a lengthy list of peo

Parnitha System, SSV Waterloo SR8, Bridge:
Helmsman Flight Lieutenant Stevens glanced nervously over his shoulder at his CO. Her pacing behind him was starting to unnerve him. She was usually the original ice-queen in any stressful situation. Calm, cool, analytical, but now, she was a ball of nerves. "Entering Parnitha System, vectoring to Thessia." He stated automatically.
"Faster." Came the curt reply from the dark-eyed woman behind him. "Flank speed." She ordered.
He half turned in his chair. "Ma'am, Thessia control has speed limits even out here! We'll probably get pulled over by their space cops or something and get a ticket."
She stopped pacing and fixed him with her patented 'don't fuck with me stare'. "I ordered flank speed, mister. Now give me flank speed plus ten!" She hissed.
He turned ba

One week after "Finding Peace, Rest Now "
It was where she was born and lived happily for sixteen years. It was the planet that was ravaged on the day she lost everyone and everything she held dear. It was the place she was when she found her path in life.
It was where she drew her resolve from in the memories and the horrible scars etched on her soul left from that terrible day the slavers came. And until Therum, it was where she drew on her only happy memories for wisdom and love.
Now it would be her final resting place for eternity.
Mindoir, a planet of beauty, hope, terror and peace.
The sky was heavy and grey with thick ponderous clouds rolling in from the east that hung low over the wide, pristine valley. As threatening as the clouds were, the air was still, silent and cold.
On top of a small hill in the valleys' center a casket sat
